The FlowTubes for FACS are made of crystal clear virgin polystyrene, these 12x75mm FACS tubes are designed for most Flourescence Activated Cell Sorting/flow cytometry equipment, including FACS systems from 8D Biosciences. The diameter and wall thickness of the tube's neck are held to a tight tolerances to ensure consistent compatibility with automated instrumentation. They are available with the standard two-position culture cap, as well as with a cap that contains a 35µm nylon mesh screen, designed to assist in cell sorting/straining applications. These tubes and mesh caps are primarily used to collect dissociated sample for subsequent processing in automated flow cytometry instruments.

These standard 1/8-inch diameter pitot tubes feature hemispherical tips, which are nearly impossible to damage. The tubes are recommended for ducts 10 inches and larger in diameter. They have inscribed inch graduations on both sides to show depth of insertion at a glance, which helps identify the exact center of any duct. The tubes made of stainless steel comply with AMCA & ASHRAE specifications. They are suitable for use in temperatures up to 1500F and provide accurate readings when its tip is directed within 15 of air flow. The tubes come in seven sizes, ranging from 8 to 60 inches long.
